Our story
Tandem Cafe is what happens when hospitality and cycling share a handlebar. Two founders, one counter in Girona's old town, and a simple idea: ride hard, eat well.
Born from passion
Tandem Cafe was founded in 2026 by two friends: one from hospitality, one from the saddle. Both fell in love with Girona's medieval streets and the epic climbs that start where the old town ends.
Girona is the epicentre of European professional cycling, yet we felt there was still room for a place that treats riders as guests, not gear: premium healthy cooking on one side of the counter and a fully dedicated cyclist support point on the other. That gap became Tandem.

Coffee, taken seriously
Single-origin beans from our local roaster, dialed in every morning and brewed with total precision. Filter, espresso or batch, the cup is the point.
Clean nutrition
No refined sugars, clean proteins and complex carbs that actually recover a body after a long day out. Organic where it matters, seasonal always.
Community first
Secure bike parking, live racing on the screen and The Sunday Roll from the door every week. A welcoming room where the ride is the common language.
